Cloud Forest on your phone
Your school.
Your app.
Download directly from Cloud Forest. Students, parents, guardians, teachers and administrators use the same app. Sign in and it opens to the right place: your classes, belt and lessons if you train, or the teacher screens if you teach.
Parents and guardians: use the email the school has linked to your family, then choose who is training.
Android phones and tablets
Install the Android app
Android 7.0 or later. You will need an internet connection and your school login. Open this page in your phone's browser.
If this page opened inside another app, open it in Chrome or Samsung Internet before downloading.
Open in ChromeIf that button does nothing, tap the three-dot menu in the app's browser and choose Open in browser or Open in Chrome. You may need to sign in again in that browser.
Sign in with the email linked to your school account to download.
The short version
- Open this page in Chrome or Samsung Internet, sign in, and tap Download Android app. Open the saved file from that browser's Downloads.
- If Android asks, open Settings and allow installation from this browser using “Allow from this source.” Return to the file and tap Install.
- Open Cloud Forest and sign in with your school email. Your website login does not automatically sign you into the installed app.
- After installation, you can turn “Allow from this source” off again.
Step by step for your phone
Not sure which phone you have? Open Settings and tap About phone. The brand and model are at the top.
Samsung Galaxy
Galaxy S, A, Z Fold and Z Flip phones and Galaxy Tab
- Open this page in Samsung Internet or Chrome, sign in, and tap Download Android app.
- When the download finishes, tap Open in the bar at the bottom. If you missed it, open the My Files app, then Downloads, and tap the Cloud Forest file.
- If you see “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source,” tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then tap the back arrow.
- Tap Install. Samsung Auto Blocker prevents installs outside the Google and Samsung stores. You can use the school web app without changing it. If you choose to install this school download, open Settings, then Security and privacy, then Auto Blocker; turn it off temporarily, install, and turn it back on afterward. Ask the school if you are unsure.
- Tap Open, then sign in with your school email.
Google Pixel
Pixel 6 and newer, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet
- Open this page in Chrome, sign in, and tap Download Android app.
- Tap Open on the download notice, or pull down the notification shade and tap the finished download.
- If Android says Chrome is not allowed to install apps, tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install. Keep Play Protect enabled and let it scan the file if asked. If it reports a harmful app or blocks installation, stop and contact the school. You can use the school web app while we check it.
- Tap Open, then sign in with your school email.
Motorola, OnePlus, Nokia and other Android phones
Moto G and Edge, OnePlus, Nokia, TCL, Xiaomi and most other Android 8 or newer phones
- Open this page in Chrome, sign in, and tap Download Android app.
- Open the finished file from the notice, or from the Files app under Downloads.
- If the phone blocks the install, tap Settings and switch on Allow from this source. On Xiaomi and Redmi phones the switch may read Allow app installs from this source.
- Tap Install, then Open, and sign in with your school email.
- Still blocked? Open Settings, search for Install unknown apps, choose Chrome, and switch it on.
Older Android (version 7)
Phones from about 2016 and 2017
- Open Settings, then Security, and switch on Unknown sources. Confirm with OK.

- Open the finished download and tap Install, then Open.
- Go back to Settings, then Security, and switch Unknown sources off again.
For updates, return here and install the newer download over the existing app. Keep the existing app installed to preserve its local settings. If you used an earlier test APK, this website edition installs separately.
School-managed phones may block APK installation. Ask your device administrator or use the web app. Keep Play Protect enabled.
iPhone and iPad
Put Cloud Forest on your home screen
Our iPhone and iPad app is not currently listed in the App Store. Use the school website in Safari, or add it to your home screen with the steps below. The home-screen shortcut opens the same school app full screen.
No school login? You can check public class times without an account or installation. Contact the school if you need access to your family's private records.
See public class times- Open traincloudforest.com/app in Safari. Chrome and Edge on iOS 16.4 or newer work too.
- Sign in with your school email.
- Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up. On iPhone it is at the bottom of the screen, on iPad at the top right.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If you do not see it, tap Edit Actions at the bottom of the list and add it.
- Leave the name as Cloud Forest and tap Add. The Cloud Forest icon now sits on your home screen and opens full screen like any other app.
The Android download cannot be installed on iPhone or iPad. Android users who prefer not to install a file can use the same web app: in Chrome, open the three-dot menu and tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
Help
If something goes wrong
“App not installed” or “package conflicts”
An older test copy can cause this, but the message has other causes too. Call 336-790-6399 before uninstalling so we can check which copy you have. Uninstalling clears the app's local settings and sign-in. For an ordinary update, keep the existing app installed and install the new download over it.
Nothing happens when I tap Download
You are probably inside another app's browser, such as Facebook, Instagram or Gmail. Tap Open in Chrome above, or use the three-dot menu and choose Open in browser.
The download says it failed
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then tap Check download to test the connection.
A work or school phone blocks the install
Some managed phones do not allow outside apps. Use the home-screen web app instead: it has the same features.
I signed in on the website but the app asks again
The installed app keeps its own sign-in. Sign in once inside the app and it remembers you.
How do I update?
Most changes reach your app by themselves the next time you open it. When we ask you to update, come back here and install the new download over the old one. Your sign-in stays.
Still stuck? Call the school at 336-790-6399 and we will walk you through it.
